About Bais Tefilah
Bais Tefilah is an intentional Orthodox synagogue in Henderson, built by families who chose to be here. We are transplants from bigger cities like Los Angeles and New York, united by a desire to raise our children in a warm out-of-town community that values clarity, connection, and a deep rhythm of Jewish life.
Most of our members found their way to a religious life as adults. This means our community is not defined by a long history, but by our shared commitment to building a vibrant Jewish life for our children.
Our synagogue is a home for the entire family. While our services are grounded in Torah and Halacha, our community is grounded in real life. Here, you’ll find events and programs designed for families with kids. This is a place where we show up for each other, celebrating together and supporting one another through life’s moments.
