Who we are.
Bais Tefilah is a Jewish community in Henderson, Nevada, run by the like-minded families who live here. We're a mix of transplants from bigger cities, families who grew up religious and chose to stay, and people who came to traditional Jewish life as adults.
What we share is the choice to be here, the choice to be observant, and the choice to build a real community together, on our own terms. Members lead davening and group torah discussions. We bring in qualified rabbis for focused learning and questions of Jewish law.
What we do, every week.
- Shabbos & Yom Tov services Services every Shabbos and Yom Tov. Members lead davening. Walking distance from most homes.
- Communal kiddush and Shalosh Seudos The social heart of the week. Kids run between the yard and the snack table; adults trade thoughts on the parsha and on life.
- Kids' group every Shabbos Run every week since we opened. Bar-mitzvah-age kids take real roles through our Junior Gabbai program.
- Ladies and Babies Lounge Dedicated, recently renovated. A real space for moms and little ones.
- Daily learning Daily shiurim. Visiting rabbis for halacha and broader learning.
Who’s here.
Our members come from many paths. Some chose religious life as adults. Some grew up religious and chose to stay and build it here. What we share is choosing to be here, on purpose. We don’t operate on a long history. We operate on a shared commitment to building a Jewish life our children will love now and want to inherit later. The community is small enough that everyone is known by name.

Bais Tefilah sits in a corner of Henderson, NV — a 2+ square mile eruv inside one of the safest cities in America, with national parks out the back door and no state income tax. The neighborhood is what makes this work.
